Tonko came and let me out
Talking through the keyhole
To my wide eye blinking.
Being released, all keys were yanked from doors
and put on reserve in a box
away from my fat fingers.
Years later
we found the keys again.
Lifting the box, the bottom disintigrated
from salt and damp
and they spilled out accross the tiles,
like silver fish flopping on the dock
and I laughed with
my hands over my ears.
